era of tactics is a tactical game in which you must strategically allocate your resources to dominate the board defeating your rivals and conquering the world, Each Resource is related to each other, since the population has a base power that is multiplied in relation to the technology (Each Technology Point multiplies the population by 1.2) and then your amount of resources is added, therefore you can have the same Less population than another empire but being more technologically advanced you can defeat it thanks to your technological superiority, however if you do not have too many resources and it has many more than you, it could also defeat you thanks to its resources, since it can stay at war without its population starved for much longer.
